For the academic year 2018-19, tuition for full-time registration for 9 or more credit hours is $20,900 per semester. Annual stipends. For 2019-20, the minimum stipend is $31,000; many programs provide higher stipend amounts, some as high as $35,000, and special admissions fellowships (scroll down!) can raise the stipend even more. Full tuition scholarships. Our standard tuition scholarships of approximately $62,700 fully cover tuition, leaving only student fees to be paid by students. 100% subsidy of Emory鈥檚 student health insurance premium. In 2018-19, that amounts to $3,466 for the year.

In addition to these requirements, all departments require international students to submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. TOEFL scores should be at least 560 on the paper-based test or a 100 or higher on the Internet-based test. Students who earned a degree from an institution within the United States are waived from the TOEFL requirement.
