11For students that do not have a background in math or programming, we offer math and programming prerequisite courses to introduce students to computing and to the fundamental and introductory skills that are needed to successfully begin masters-level coursework. Students with more advanced backgrounds can begin in higher-level classes.

The Masters Program in Computer Science requires TOEFL scores for international applicants above 90 (or IELTS overall and sub-scores of at least 7) for admission to the University. The English language requirement may be waived if the applicant is a native of or studied in full-time status for at least one academic year within the last five years in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or English medium universities in Canada or South Africa. Students who studied in English in other countries, are not exempt from the English language requirement.
